FLOORING SYSTEMS

Although it is not a stipulated requirement detailed in the European Standard for artificial climbing structures (EN12572) it is generally accepted within the climbing world that a safety surface should be provided below a climbing wall.

We can supply and install a variety of safety surfaces appropriate to the type of climbing wall and usage:
300mm or 400mm crash matting for bouldering walls.
Rubbercrumb safety tiles for use in roped climbing areas or beneath traverse walls.
Articulated matting can be folded up in front of the climbing wall to discourage unsupervised use.
