Bolt-on Climbing Wall Holds

Back in 1985, Entre-Prises were the first company ever to design and develop commercial bolt-on climbing wall holds and ever since then, we have been at the forefront of Bolt-on hold development.

With our own extensive range of Bolt-on and Screw on holds that have been used the world over by more than 5500 climbing facilities and at levels range from childrens novelty holds to world cup class competition holds.

We also craft our holds in the following materials:

PolyUrethane (PU). Urethane is very durable; not prone to cracking or chipping. Well suited for all types of walls, especially highly featured walls. Because of this durability, holds can be formed into more unique shapes.

PolyEster (PE). Polyester is the traditional material for holds; texture is dryer; more rigid than urethane; suitable for flat featured and plywood walls. Entre-Prises make Bolt-On hold in an extensive range of colours:

Our PE climbing holds are manufactured to this standard approved by the German Inspection Authority TUV. Entre Prises is the first bolt-on hold manufacturer to be certified by the TUV. EP hand holds have been subjected to systematic rupture tests, resistance and safety tests as well as applied forces and freezing / defrosting cycles to meet this standard.

All out holds also feature Entre-Prises patented EPS is a proprietary strength and safety device cast into our holds that the bolt passes through upon installation. This ingenious insert is strong enough to even hold body weight in some circumstances. In the event of an over tightened hold breaking during use, EPS captures the bulk of the hold which reduces the risk to people below of being struck by flying debris. Look for the EPS symbol, designating which of our holds incorporate the Explosion Proof System.
