We are currently looking to fill the following position:
Senior Technician / Installer
Principal Duties
Supervise small team in workshop and on site, to ensure product is manufactured to high quality and on time.
Co-ordinate installation of walls, occasionally working abroad and with main contractors.
Other duties may include:
Site visits with Project Manager to discuss project with client and/ or confirm dimensions.
Packaging and loading product for dispatch.
Quality control both in workshop and on site.
Implement Health and Safety practices, tool box talks etc.
Skills and general experience
Good communication and motivation skills.
Good time keeping and time management skills.
Full driving licence.
MEWP/ PASMA/ Counterbalance Licence an advantage, although training will be given.
Prior experience of working in construction industry an advantage.
Experience of managing a site team an advantage.
Working at heights/climbing experience beneficial.
The position is full time and is based at the head office in Kelbrook, Lancs.
Start Date: 1st July 2008
Leave: 4 weeks per year plus bank holidays
Hours: Normal working hours - workshop 8.00am - 5.00pm Mon - Thurs, 8.00am - 1.45pm Friday
On site times will vary as the job requires and may include weekend work
Salary: circa £9.60 - £12.00 per hour basic negotiable depending on skills and experience + OT + Bonus
